Wisdom of the Body: an Introduction to Somatic Healing Workshop at Manifest House

Somatics isn’t just a healing modality, it’s a bridge to wholeness and moving towards what you most care about by being in relationship with your body and working with the inherent wisdom the body holds. Join Manifest House for Wisdom of the Body: an Introduction to Somatic Healing Workshop, a 90-minute workshop that will dive into the what, why, and hows of somatic healing and move into embodied practice to orient, ground, and center the self in sensing and feeling. We're honored to have Marisela Rosales (she/her),  holistic psychotherapist, somatic coach, and reiki master, lead us through this exploration of practices accessible to all bodies and abilities.

• A quiet place to tune in with minimal distractions
• Headphones recommended
• Your favorite journal to take notes or if you'd like to take notes or reflect afterward
• Water or tea
• Any other items that bring you comfort and help you create your sacred space (a cozy blanket, crystals, candles, incense, etc)

About Your Facilitator:

Marisela Rosales (she/her) is a holistic psychotherapist, somatic coach, and reiki master. Her work lives at the intersections of psychology, spirituality, cultural, and ancestral wisdom. She is dedicated to helping women of color connect to the wisdom of their bodies. Her offerings focus on reconnecting to the body and self as a means of healing, growth, and expansion.
