Reclaiming Ancestral Joy Workshop at Manifest House

Meet us at Manifest House for a gathering to connect to your ancestral joy. We are delighted to have Purple Liera,  healer and founder of WOC Sister Collective, lead us through a 90-minute workshop.

We carry in our bodies the trauma of our ancestors but our bodies are also a safe space to carry their joy, wisdom, and resilience. Let us honor our ancestors by reclaiming our joy. In this workshop, we will discuss the different ways we can call in our joy as a way to honor ourselves and our ancestors using meditation and breathwork.

If you are not able to attend the live-stream event, all those who RSVP will receive a copy of the recording.

What You'll Need:

• Comfortable and quiet place
• Your favorite journal
• A blanket or shawl
• Headphones recommended
• Any other items that bring you comfort and help you create your sacred space (a cup of tea, crystals, candles, incense, etc).

About Your Guide:

Alex Purple Liera is an educator, activist, community organizer, and healer. She is the founder of the WOC Sister Collective. The collective offers a wide variety of WOC focused events, circles, and workshops that educate, motivate, and empower womxn in our community.
