Ceremonia with Cacao: A Community Ritual at Manifest House

Meet us at Manifest House for a Ceremonia with Cacao led by Daniela Miranda, Ceremonial Leader, Indígena Medicina from Mapuche Abuelas, and Cacao Facilitator. This 90-minute shamanic healing ceremony will help rebalance the energies within you, open your heart, and restore good health.  It is perfect for someone wanting to experience and grow through shamanic rituals without the often intense experience associated with Ayahuasca.

This community class is donation-based (pay what you can). Free spots are available and everyone is welcome, regardless of their ability to donate. All proceeds from this event go towards our facilitator and the Manifest House scholarship fund, which provides fully-funded memberships to those in our community needing support.

What You'll Need:

• A cup of prepared ceremonial cacao (recipe below) 
• Comfy clothing for sitting and lying down during the ceremony
• Headphones recommended
• Your favorite journal and a pencil 
• Water or tea
• An eye mask and blanket 
• A quiet place to tune in with minimal distractions
• Any other items that bring you comfort and help you create your sacred space (a cozy blanket, crystals, candles, incense, etc)

How to Prepare 100% Arriba Nacional Cacao:

Unlike cocoa powder, ceremonial Cacao has not been defatted and requires warm water and thorough blending for it to mix well.

1. Heat up water to just under boiling
2. While heating up water, begin to chop or grate the ceremonial grade cacao. If cacao is already granulated, you can skip this step.
3. Mix chopped/granulated cacao thoroughly with either a tea infusion or hot water using a frother, blender, or whisk.

Quality of water is an important component: filtered water is preferred. 

About Your Guide:

Daniela Miranda is a Chilena with Indigenous Mapuche blood. She comes from a long line of medicine women who have shut their medicine down for survival in one way or another.  She is here in this lifetime to reclaim that medicine and empower all the generations to live free and wild. She comes from tribal warriors who love and honor Pachamama and whose medicine is imprinted in her DNA. Years ago, she also shut down her magic and medicine for survival. But she has reclaimed it and connected other women to their medicine and magic through ceremonies and photography.  

She founded Conexión Al Corazon, Unbranding Photography, Ancestor Hour Podcast+ Real Beauty Uncovered.  I am a Certified Life and Hypnosis Coach, + sat with Cacao since 2013.  She used the combination of her tools to help translate what her ancestors were showing her. Daniela's work has been recognized by the President's Interfaith Community Service Award (2016) as Healing Artist of the Month by Atlantic Health Systems, featured in museums and galleries, published in numerous books and magazines, and featured on News12 NJ.
