About the Event
Meet us at Manifest House for an evening to unwind and experience a guided breathwork practice. We are delighted to have Fatima Farmer, meditation instructor & coach, lead us through a 45-minute class that will provide us with the opportunity to find clarity and release through the power of our breath.
Fatima will guide you through a group of exercises that teach you to manipulate your breathing rate and depth. Breathwork brings awareness to your breath and ultimately provides the same benefits you might get from a meditative practice. Most formal practices involve sustained rhythmic breathing techniques. Breathwork sessions have the ability to provide relaxation, clarity, deep meditative states, and emotional purging. No prior experience with breathwork is necessary and all are welcome.
What You'll Receive:
- An introduction and explanation of breathwork
- A guided practice that will include breathwork, meditation and reflection
- Time afterwards for a supportive Q+A with Fatima
What You'll Need:
- Comfortable place to lay down
- A blanket and comfy clothing
- Water or tea
- Your favorite journal
- Headphones recommended
- Any other items that bring you comfort and help you create your sacred space (a cup of tea, crystals, candles, incense, etc).
It’s recommended that you do not practice breathwork if you have any of the following (if you have any questions or are unsure if this class is for you, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org).
- breathing issues
- cardiovascular issues
- high blood pressure
- history of aneurysms
- recent physical injuries or surgeries
- severe psychiatric symptoms
- vision issues
About Your Instructor:
Fatima Farmer is a Certified Mindfulness Meditation & Breath Work Facilitator, Clarity Coach, Non-Profit Founder of the @soulbeautyoutreach, and podcast host. Her non-profit, Soul Beauty Outreach, is on a mission to provide soul care to homeless women through meditations & mental health support. Her mindfulness meditation classes & workshops are perfect for beginners and those looking to deepen their current practice. A typical class may include affirmations, visualizations, journaling prompts, & sound healing bowls.
